Helen Houben is specialised in financing & securities and advises businesses and financiers on arranging and reviewing financing. Helen is also active in the insolvency and restructuring team and routinely advises directors, shareholders, and financiers of struggling companies. The latter regarding bother restructuring outside of bankruptcy and in bankruptcy, when it proves unavoidable. Helen is often appointed by the court as a curator in bankruptcies. Besides this Helen also is the contact for our Belgian Desk. From her financing practice, Helen operates as in-house attorney for provincial investment fund for MKB. She also advises in acquisition procedures regarding financing aspects. For example, she was involved in the financing of the acquisition of Dagblad De Limburger and NRC Handelsblad.
