Shaun Eisenhauer practices in the Corporate & Tax, Mergers & Acquisitions, Charitable & Non-Profit, Securities and Real Estate Groups. For 2021, Shaun was recognized as Central Pennsylvania Lawyer of the Year in Closely Held Companies and Family Business Law. He has been recognized as one of The Best Lawyers in America® in the practice areas of Corporate Law, Corporate Governance Law, and Closely Held Companies and Family Business Law. In 2013 and 2020, he was recognized as Corporate Law Lawyer of the Year® in Central Pennsylvania. Shaun has also received the highest peer review rating of AV® from Martindale-Hubbell since 2001. As an attorney, Shaun serves as outside general legal counsel to national manufacturing, real estate, agricultural, and services companies, as well as non-profit and tax-exempt organizations, providing advice on a wide range of matters including acquisitions and dispositions, debt and equity financing (including public and private offerings), business planning, governance and compliance, corporate and partnership structure, succession planning, executive compensation, contracting, commercial leasing, and general business counseling. Shaun is a frequent lecturer on a variety of legal issues. He has provided accredited continuing legal education to fellow lawyers on the following seminar topics: Mergers and Acquisitions, Commercial Lending, Due Diligence Investigations, Boards of Directors Governance, Limited Partnership Agreements, Acquisition Agreements, Real Estate Finance Agreements, Fundamentals of Pennsylvania Business Corporation Practice, Corporate Meetings for Closely Held Businesses, Preparing LLC Documents, Agency Law, and Contract Law. Shaun spent several years early in his law career as a Philadelphia litigator, so he brings an understanding of the litigation process to his business and non-profit counseling practice. In addition to his law degree, Shaun has an MBA in corporate finance from Wharton, a masters in tax law from Villanova and a black belt in Korean martial arts (Jung Sim Do). Shaun currently serves on the firm’s Hiring Committee and is Chair of the Charitable & Non-Profit Practice Group.
