Patrick Whitehill primarily practises in the area of private company mergers and acquisitions and private equity. Patrick routinely acts for Canadian and international clients in a broad range of industries including information technology, financial services, health care and agriculture. Patrick also advises clients on their corporate and commercial matters including corporate reorganizations, commercial agreements, outsourcing and financings. Prior to joining Blakes, Patrick practised as a lawyer in the corporate and commercial group at a mid-sized firm in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Before attending law school, he worked in a number of positions in the private sector and with the federal government.
