Michael Stevenson practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, private equity investments and corporate reorganizations. He has assisted domestic and international clients in a wide range of industries, including agribusiness, food production and distribution, construction, transportation, consumer goods, information technology, real estate and retail. Michael often acts for private, family-owned companies on transition planning, including dispositions, minority or majority third party investments and reorganizations. Michael also has extensive experience advising foreign companies on establishing and structuring their Canadian operations. Michael is one of the co-chairs of the Firm's Food, Beverage & Agribusiness group, and regularly acts for food and beverage companies on acquisitions, dispositions and general commercial matters.
