Ky Kvisle practice focuses on commercial transactions and project development primarily with respect to natural resources and industrial infrastructure. He works extensively on both international and domestic matters in the energy, agriculture, electricity, renewables, petrochemical, technology and mining sectors. His experience includes working on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, EPC and supply chain agreements, ESG matters, commodities trading and energy derivatives agreements, carbon offset trading, corporate reorganizations, project and acquisition financings, distressed asset transactions, and energy infrastructure development and operational agreements. As an associate, Ky spent time seconded to the Firm's offices in the Kingdoms of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. During that time, he acted for Canadian companies with investments in the Middle East as well as some of the largest enterprises based in the region. Prior to joining Blakes, Ky obtained industry experience working in the legal department of a large Canadian-based international oil and gas company.
