Bio

Gillian is a Director in our Rural Land & Business Team. Gillian obtained a BSc (Hons) in Physiology from St Andrews University before obtaining her LLB from Dundee University in 2004. Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2007 Gillian has built up considerable experience advising farmers, landowners, developers and lenders on a wide variety of rural matters including the Agricultural Holdings legislation, agricultural tenancies, renewable energy projects, security work on behalf of lenders and borrowers, planning agreements and title conditions. Gillian has a particular interest in the sale and acquisition of farms, estates, forestry and other rural property as well as Option Agreements in relation to development
