Rafael Ruiz Bio

Rafael is Head of the Corporate Team and is based in our Chelmsford office. He became a Partner in 2001 and specialises in all aspects of corporate law. He has wide experience of corporate mergers, acquisitions and disposals, reorganisations and reconstructions, joint ventures, and of general corporate governance issues and shareholders arrangements. Rafael Ruiz also leads the firm’s Competition Team, and advises clients on all aspects of competition and anti-trust compliance, including merger control requirements. Rafael is recommended and named as a ‘Hall of Fame’ member by Legal 500 [UK 2025].
