Deborah Rowntree Bio

I am a banking and finance lawyer with more than 10 years' experience of advising funders and borrowers including major UK banks, public and private companies, independent health and care providers and housing associations. I have experience of advising on a wide range of finance matters including real estate development and investment transactions, acquisition finance deals, restructurings, general corporate financings, complex syndicated lending and re-financings. My experience of acting on both sides of a variety of funding transactions enables me to provide clients with commercial advice from the initial stages of a funding transaction (including on structuring and term sheets) to negotiating and completing the funding documents and any security or intercreditor agreements. I have particular expertise in real estate finance which I have used to advise clients on bespoke funding arrangements including for airspace development and for complex joint ventures.
