Best Best & Krieger LLP Partner Brent Kinkade practices business and estate planning. His estate planning practice includes wills, trusts, probate, charitable planning, elder law and estate tax planning. His general business practice includes a wide range of transactions, with an emphasis on entity formation, acquisitions and sales of businesses, commercial leasing, real estate and community association law. Brent frequently presents to fellow professionals and the public on various aspects of estate planning and business law. He has also authored chapters of various estate planning CLE publications to educate fellow legal professionals. Brent has lived in Central Oregon since graduating law school in 1993. During law school, Brent worked as an extern to Honorable Eugene Wright in the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and served as articles editor of the Washington Law Review. Brent is active in the community, having served on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club and as a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America. In his spare time, Brent enjoys gardening, sports, the outdoors, and spending time with his wife and three children. Brent is also fluent in French and enjoys reading both French and English literature.
