Brett Souza practice focuses on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial transactions. Mr. Souza has experience representing both public and closely held companies, and is a member of the firm's Audit Committee Team. Mr. Souza regularly handles private investment transactions, the public offering of securities, and federal and state securities law compliance matters. His experience encompasses corporate acquisitions and divestitures, advising executive management teams and Board of Directors (including Audit Committees), and serving as "outside general counsel" to several companies. He has experience structuring and negotiating domestic and international licensing and distribution transactions for both software and consumer products. Mr. Souza co-founded UniReach International, Inc., a non-profit organization working among and improving the working, living, medical, and health care conditions of needy persons in developing countries throughout the world. He serves as a founding member of the Board of Directors.
