Anthony Carriuolo has extensive experience in a variety of fields, including complex business litigation, disputes affecting commercial real estate and related investment interests, litigation involving securitized lending vehicles, advocacy as special counsel to governmental agencies, adversarial proceedings adverse to public bodies, and engagements as special litigation counsel to Chapter 11 debtors in possession, bankruptcy trustees and major lenders. He has experience in pursuing and defending claims asserted against directors and officers of publicly-traded companies, including coverage disputes with their insurers. He has represented clients in shareholder disputes, trade litigation, controversies affecting commercial real estate properties, and disputes resulting from governmental decisions affecting proposed development. His litigation practice has included employment-related cases, such as the successful pursuit of embezzlement claims, the defense of management before the federal courts involving claims of harassment, discrimination or wrongful termination, and litigation resulting from hiring raids between competitors. He has positive experience in managing parallel litigations pending before several tribunals (including international courts), with efficiency. Tony has appeared as special litigation counsel in a variety of courts outside of Florida including, without limitation, the United States Bankruptcy and District Courts for the District of Delaware, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of New York and for the District of Puerto Rico.
