Harinder Basra practises corporate and securities law, with a particular emphasis on advising public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, shareholder activism, corporate governance and general corporate matters. His practice focuses on advising domestic and international clients on transactions in the upstream oil and natural gas industry. Harinder provides practical legal advice to a diverse group of clients, from start-ups to multinational dual-listed issuers. His clients include public and private entities, private equity funds and investment banks. Harinder has acted for buyers and sellers on several high profile acquisitions and dispositions in the oil and natural gas industry. His extensive experience in the M&A space includes take-over bids, plans of arrangement and corporate reorganizations. Harinder has also developed an expertise advising issuers and underwriters in a wide variety of corporate finance matters, including domestic and cross-border initial public offerings, secondary offerings and new issues of equity and debt securities. He also routinely advises clients on regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters.
