Brad Ward Bio

Brad is a commercial litigator with experience in complex commercial disputes, particularly in contentious construction, property and insurance disputes. Brad regularly acts for both principals and contractors in construction disputes, including in mediations, adjudications, arbitration and the courts. His recent work includes acting for Downer in several large construction proceedings in the High Court and in arbitration, acting for Shundi Group (the developer of the Seascape apartment tower) in High Court judicial review proceedings, and acting for Arvida in a breach of warranty claim against Lendlease, the vendor of five retirement villages in Auckland. Brad's general commercial practice includes acting in contractual enforcement proceedings, and on complex shareholder disputes, across a range industries.
