Aaron works with his clients to turn their goals into realities by implementing a holistic approach to problem-solving. He leverages his legal and business background to help develop and protect intellectual property and pursue complex merger and acquisition opportunities. Aaron devotes his time and expertise to the firm's Corporate and Commercial practice group, primarily working on Mergers & Acquisitions and Intellectual Property matters. Aaron assists companies with formation, corporate governance and compliance, contract drafting and negotiation, and asset and stock transactions. Further, Aaron assists clients with both trademark and copyright registration, licensing, and transactions. Aaron returned to Des Moines and joined Belin McCormick, P.C. after graduating from the University of Michigan Law School in 2019. While attending law school, Aaron served as the Senior Editor for the Michigan Law Review and served on the board of directors of the Entrepreneurship Law Association. Outside of his primary legal career, Aaron is passionate to improve his community as a social entrepreneur. In law school, Aaron volunteered for the Unemployment Insurance Clinic to assist individuals in collecting and defending their right to unemployment insurance. Further, while earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Aaron founded the Maize & Blue Cupboard, a food pantry that has alleviated food insecurity for thousands of families in Southeast Michigan. Going forward, Aaron is eager to continue using his education and experience to protect and support the community.
