Amy L. Jonaitis focuses her practice primarily in the areas of Matrimonial Law and Family Law and counsels clients on the various aspects of dissolution of marriage proceedings, including child custody, support, visitation, property division, financial issues related to divorce, post-dissolution matters, prenuptial agreements, appellate matters and civil litigation related to orders of protection. Amy concentrates her practice in complex family law litigation and has handled appellate matters in the First, Second and Third Districts in Illinois, as well as the Illinois Supreme Court. Amy is actively involved in volunteer work, both within and outside the legal community, including providing pro bono representation to military veterans and active duty military personnel in domestic relations cases through the American Bar Association Pro Bono Project. Additionally, she is a member of the DePaul Family Law Center Advisory Board. Amy is currently an adjunct professor at DePaul University, College of Law.
