Harry Carls is the Managing Shareholder of the Firm's Central Florida region. He founded the Law Firm of Taylor & Carls, which became a part of Becker & Poliakoff in 2013. For more than thirty years, Mr. Carls has concentrated his practice in the area of community association law, providing a variety of legal services to condominium, homeowner, cooperative and timeshare associations. He also has extensive experience in commercial litigation, having represented aircraft modification and Fixed Based Operator companies. He is also a Certified Circuit Court Mediator and Insurance Mediator.Mr. Carls is approved by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation as a provider of continuing education for Community Association Managers. He has prepared educational materials and presented seminars on community association topics for many years, including for the Community Association Institute, Orange and Hillsborough counties, community association management companies, other attorneys and groups of association officers and directors. Mr. Carls has similarly prepared educational materials and delivered presentations for several commercial education services companies, including "Legal Aspects of Condominium Development and Homeowners' Associations," "Conflict Resolution and Claims Against Developers," and "Establishing and Operating Homeowners' Associations: Understanding the Legal Issues in Florida."
