Dragoljub Sretenovic is a senior partner in the finance practice group. He advises banks and corporate borrowers on acquisition, project, and working capital financing. Dragoljub is also experienced in the matters related to insurance, capital markets transactions, foreign exchange, electronic money issuance and online payments. He has advised banks on banking regulations, including licensing and compliance, against the backdrop of the European financial regulations including MiFID, MAD, Prospectus Directive, Basel Accords, and PSD. He has been quoted in publications on topics relating to the development of the Serbian payment services market. He has also participated in various panel discussions about distressed debt markets and legislation affecting the sale and resolution of non-performing loans. Dragoljub is a member of the Belgrade Bar Association. He also represents the firm in the Finance & Tax committee of the American Chamber of Commerce, and the Leasing & Insurance committee of the Foreign Investors Council. Dragoljub holds an LL.B. from the Belgrade University and an LL.M. Finance Degree from Institute for Law and Finance, Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. During his time in Frankfurt, Dragoljub gained professional experience interning with the Frankfurt-based Hengeler Mueller and the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority.
