A pioneer of BCF's Quebec City office, Serge Lebel has over 35 years’ experience in business law. An entrepreneur at heart, he knows how to offer our like-minded clients pragmatic solutions adapted to their reality. He advises a diverse clientele in Canada and internationally, on virtually every aspect of business law. Serge has developed particular expertise in the negotiation of business partnerships and economic immigration, including partnerships with First Nations, such as the development of northern Quebec. His in-depth knowledge of corporate governance has made him a useful ally for business leaders. He also advises clients in complex commercial and liability litigation matters and occasionally acts as an arbitrator. Actively involved in the Quebec business community, Serge presides over the Board of Governors of the Quebec Youth Foundation, volunteers at the Entrepreneurship Foundation, and is a member of the Canadian Red Cross fundraising committee, Quebec Division, as well as the Garneau Foundation Campaign Committee for the Quebec School of Entrepreneurship. Having served on the Board of Directors of Loto Québec for nearly 15 years and on the Board of Directors of the Administration portuaire de Québec for 10 years, he has relevant global knowledge of governance and issues at various levels of a Crown corporation, both provincially and federally. He also sits on several boards of directors, as well as advisory committees.
