Annie-Claude Trudeau is a partner and co-head of the Montreal Litigation Group and a member of the Class Action Defence Group. Backed by more than 10 years of experience, she focuses on complex civil and commercial litigation, class actions, shareholder disputes, governance and crisis management. With her in-depth legal knowledge, her reliability and her creativity, she is an invaluable asset not only for defending our clients before the courts but also for assisting them in the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts. Since she became a lawyer, Annie-Claude has always been very involved in the legal community and promotes access to justice and legal literacy. Early in her career, Annie-Claude helped out at the Juripop legal clinic, which advocates for access to justice and was also a featured reporter on the MaTV program AVOSCAS. During the 2013-2014 season, she was also responsible for the debate radio show Droit de Cité, a co-production of the Barreau du Québec and CIBL 101,5 FM. From 2016 to 2019, Annie-Claude was elected as a director of the Young Bar of Montreal where she was in charge of the Information Technology Committee (CTI), which was responsible for the organization of the annual LEGAL.IT conference, and in charge of the Public Affairs Committee, which was responsible for the Young Bar of Montreal’s public positions. Since 2019, Annie-Claude sits on the boards of directors of the Théâtre de Quat’sous and Vanguard School, a private special education institution. Furthermore, she is one of the "Gouverneurs de la relève" of the Fondation du Barreau du Québec, which awards such recognition to lawyers with less than 10 years of practice who have a strong reputation and influence within the legal community.
