Alex Swider represents private equity funds, public corporations and privately held companies, at every stage of development, in a spectrum of corporate matters. As a lawyer and a certified public accountant, Alex is skilled at assessing legal and financial cost-benefits of strategic deals. Alex advises corporations on complex mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investments, as well as tax structuring and analysis. When representing early stage companies, Alex handles formation, growth financing and successful exits by sale, merger or public offering. He leverages his experience as a CPA to advise venture capital, angel investors and family offices on formation, planning and executing investment strategies, structures, and exit strategy and execution. With extensive experience in the alternative energy industry, Alex counsels utilities, developers and other entities in negotiating renewable energy deals, including power purchase, engineering procurement and construction (EPC), and energy supply agreements. He also guides clients through the development, acquisition and sale of renewable energy-generating assets.
