Daniella Fragoso is a partner in BMA's Corporate Law, Administrative Litigation, and Capital Markets practice areas. She specializes in advisory and litigation work involving the CVM (Brazil's securities commission), the stock market's self-regulatory body, Bovespa Supervisão de Mercado, the Central Bank of Brazil – BACEN and the National Financial System Appeals Council – CRSFN. Daniella advises public companies and market intermediaries in conflict prevention measures (such as the interpretation of legislation and regulations and applications for special authorizations), represents clients in actions by regulators, which can range from simple requests for information to administrative proceedings, and assists them in conducting shareholders' meetings and in corporate transactions. She advises on corporate law issues (shareholder meetings, shareholders' and management's rights and obligations, and corporate transactions) and securities market regulation (public offerings, tender offers, and market intermediaries' rights and obligations).
