Peter Hammerich has been a partner and head of BAHR’s Asset Management & Private Equity practice group since 2005. He advises leading Norwegian and international asset managers, including financial institutions, investment banks, insurance companies, pension funds, PE funds, hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds. Peter is most frequently instructed on compliance, fund establishment, pension, tax and regulatory matters. He is recognised in independent ratings as one of the leading Nordic advisors in these fields. Peter was a member of the Working Group appointed by the Ministry of Finance to draft a proposal for an Act relating to the Management of Alternative Investment Funds, which was enacted in 2014 to incorporate the AIFMD in Norwegian law.
