Jeong Jae-yong Bio

Attorney Jaeyong Jeong mainly handles corporate legal affairs including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance, private equity, foreign investment, and overseas investment. He has accumulated extensive and rich experience through various tasks including inbound and outbound investment and holding company conversion. Attorney Jeong graduated from Seoul National University Law School and completed the 42nd Judicial Research and Training Institute. After working as a public interest lawyer at the Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office and the Ministry of Justice's International Legal Affairs Division, he joined Pacific Law Firm (Limited) in 2016. During his tenure as a public interest lawyer, Attorney Jeong has experience handling various civil, administrative, and state litigation as well as investor-state litigation (ISD). Since joining Pacific Law Firm, Attorney Jeong has been involved in a number of important M&A transactions, including the spin-off and sale of Samsung Electronics’ Printing Solutions business division, CJ CheilJedang’s acquisition of Brazil’s Selecta, Unilever’s acquisition of Carver Korea, Bluehole’s (now Krafton) investment attraction, Affinity’s acquisition of Subone, and LG Uplus’ acquisition of CJ Hello. Through this, Attorney Jeong has acquired a wealth of understanding and expertise in various industrial fields, including manufacturing, service, and IT-related businesses.
