Sungjo Yun is a partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (BKL). Mr. Yun's practice focuses primarily on domestic and cross-border M&As by Korean/foreign private equity funds/companies, corporate restructuring, energy, and general corporate legal affairs. Since joining BKL in 2001, Mr. Yun has handled inbound investment by foreign companies/funds and various types of domestic/cross-border investment by Korea-based private equity funds. He also has handled corporate restructuring or changes of corporate governance, such as large companies' converting to holding companies, corporate split-up, merger, and sale and purchase of business. Recently, he successfully helped domestic private equity funds and companies make investments in the U.S., China, and Europe. Supporting the establishment of a private equity fund at home and abroad and an M&A by the established fund also falls under his main areas of practice.
