Myoung Seok Oh is focusing on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, and corporate litigation. Since joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2010, Mr. Oh has mainly handled corporate legal matters, including Unilever's acquisition of Carver Korea, Macquarie PE's investment in LG CNS, Mirae Asset PE's acquisition of Seoul Airbus, Hankook Tire's spin-off and conversion into a holding company, Woongjin Holdings' sale of shares in Coway, Affinity Equity Partners' acquisition of Loen Entertainment, Vogo Fund's sale of interest in Iriver, Hyundai Steel Consortium's acquisition of Dongbu Special Steel, JKL Partners' and KDB Capital's sale of interest in Tapex, and IMM PE's acquisition of Tailim Packaging. After completing the 36th Judicial Research and Training Institute course, he served as a judge advocate for the Republic of Korea Air Force and worked as a CPA at Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2003 to 2005. He earned a LL.M. from University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2016 and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in the same year.
