Specialized in securities law and M&A, corporate governance and listed companies, Jerome Brosset acts in both transactional and litigation matters. He advises French and international companies, investment funds and financial institutions in connection with M&A transactions targeting listed or unlisted companies. Jérôme Brosset is particularly well regarded for handling complex issues involving both friendly and hostile takeover bids, and representing clients in disputes before the AMF, the French stock exchange regulatory body. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in a significant number of hostile takeover bids and related litigation as well as in Public-to-Private transactions. Recently, he advised a foreign company in connection with its takeover of a listed company in the spirits and beverages industry, participated in the strategic alliance between two French listed IT companies, and advised a listed mutual bank entity in its reorganization. Jérôme Brosset began his career at Clifford Chance and at Veil Armfelt Jourde la Garanderie. In 2001, he joined Brandford Griffith & Associés where he became a partner in 2004. Jérôme joined August Debouzy in November 2016 as a partner.
