Simon specializes in cross-border M&A, private equity, equity capital markets (including IPOs and listings), joint ventures and corporate restructurings. Simon represents clients in various sectors across the Middle East including Energy (such as O&G, Power and Renewables), Fintech, Infrastructure, Education, F&B and Healthcare. Simon is ranked and recognized as a leading legal practitioner by various global legal publications, including Chambers Global, Bloomberg, IFLR, Legal 500. Simon has led some of the region's largest cross-border M&A transactions, including for both his regional and international clients such as Abu Dhabi National Energy Company, Al Noor Hospitals Group, GIC Kuwait, GIC Singapore, Mubadala, NBK Capital, Arcapita, Western Union, Marubeni, Gateway Capital, Alimna Capital, UPS, Aramex, State General Reserve Fund of Oman, Gulf Japan Food Fund (managed by Mizhuo Gulf Capital Partners) amongst various others.
