Ruth Buchanan Bio

Ruth Buchanan is a partner in our employment practice. Ruth is an experienced employment lawyer who provides strategic advice on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law including employee relations issues, workforce restructuring, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE and restraint of trade. Ruth regularly represents clients in the Employment Tribunal and in workplace mediation. Ruth works with clients across a range of sectors including government, infrastructure and technology but is particularly recognised for her expertise in the financial services space, advising on day to day advisory issues, regulatory investigations, D&I and non-financial misconduct. Ruth also acts as the Ashurst Training Principal in London.
