Jorge Vázquez is a managing partner of our Madrid office and a partner in our corporate practice Jorge specialises in M&A and private equity transactions, restructuring and insolvency as well as distressed investing. He also has a broad experience in general corporate and commercial matters and joint ventures. He has advised national and international clients on the corporate aspects of large cross-border M&A and private equity transactions as well as group restructurings. Jorge has also been involved in distressed debt transactions, advising a number of international clients on the buy-side, with special attention to secured and unsecured non-performing loan portfolios (including consumer loans and bank debt) as well as tranches of LBO debt. Jorge leads the private equity practice at Ashurst Madrid. He specialises in all types of corporate, private equity, NPLs and restructuring transactions. Some of his key clients are Cerberus, Haya Real Estate, Alantra Private Equity, Apollo and KKR Credit.
