Andrea Caputo Bio

Andrea Caputo is a partner in our real estate practice. Andrea is a partner and the head of the Italian Real Estate team. He has extensive expertise in advising and assisting Italian and international clients in a number of significant and complex real estate transactions involving acquisitions, disposals and letting (including long term leases and lease-back structures) of large scale retail, office, residential, leisure and logistic portfolios. Andrea advises domestic and international investors as well as financial institutions (including closed-ended funds). He has also assisted investment and corporate clients in the development of real estate projects and, in this context, he has been active in the negotiation of construction contracts and corporate joint ventures. Andrea qualified as an Italian avvocato in 2004 and was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court in 2017. Before joining Ashurst, he worked at Delli Santi & Partners (Rome) and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (Rome and Milan).
