Rogstad is part of the M&A and Employment law department. Rogstad primarily provides ongoing advice on company law, transactions and employment law. Over the past years he has provided legal counselling on several of the largest transactions and restructurings in Central Norway. He primarily advises industrial players, PE / venture companies and investment companies in connection to purchase and sale of companies, capital market transactions, securities law, and general company law. Rogstad has experience from a significant number of industries. He has over the past 15 years accumulated considerable knowledge on companies within renewable energy, IT/technology, fishing and aquaculture, and transport. Rogstad regularly assists private companies, public enterprises and publicly owned companies in labour law issues, and is a leading figure within labour law in Central Norway. He works with a wide range of labour law issues related to downsizing processes, advising on individual dismissals with or without notice, whistleblowing, business transfers, cases of suspension, individual labour disputes, rights and duties in employment, examination of facts, and investigation assignments. Rogstad works closely with his clients and one of his strengths is advising clients both in strategic and legal matters. He has been chairman of the board at the Norwegian Bar Association, Trøndelag district. He is vice-president of the Dispute Resolution Board according to the working environment act.
