Per Kristian Ramsland is part of the M&A department. Ramsland brings a great deal of experience in M&A transactions, general company law, restructurings and capital market transactions. He regularly assists E&P companies, oilservice-companies, investment firms, Private Equity/ Venture Capital firms in said areas of contract and law. Within the field of Company Law, Ramsland has assisted several major corporations with reorganizations of their activities, hereunder included in connection with divestments and exits. Ramsland has consistently acted as Project Lead for such major reorganisations. Within M&A, Ramsland has consulted on a long list of stockholder and business transactions since 2003. His assistance ranges from mid-size transactions to large strategic transactions. Many of the transactions have been in relation to the Oil and Gas industry in Norway. Within Capital Markets Law, Ramsland has assisted listed companies and bondholders with current obligations under the listing rules and in connection with rights issues/private placements and de-listings. Within Financial Restructuring and Insolvency, Ramsland has been instrumental in several major restructurings of distressed companies, as well as assisting Board Members in complying with their fiduciary obligations under the Companies Act. Education: 2003 University of Bergen, Norway - Cand.jur. (Qualifying law degree).
