André Michaelsen is part of the M&A department. He has 15 years’ experience of legal counselling in relation to capital raising, and purchase and sale of businesses. In this role he has provided assistance in negotiations, representing both the buyer’s and the seller’s side. Michaelsen also assists in restructuring and insolvency processes. He possesses extensive experience of litigation and dispute resolution, with an emphasis on disputes related to corporate law. For the last 7 years, Michaelsen has acted as a negotiator and strategic adviser in sizeable industrial projects. With his experience from the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway and legislative work, he has special expertise in stock exchange and securities law. Michaelsen is an experienced lecturer and has given lectures on this subject at the NHH Norwegian School of Economics since 2006. Education: 2001 University of Tromsø - Cand.jur.
