Anders Rødland Bio

Rødland is the head of our Stavanger office. He has extensive experience in advising national and international companies, government and regulatory authorities within the energy sector, especially oil and gas. He advises particularly on matters relating to M&A transactions, corporate law, commercial contract law and regulatory matters in the upstream oil and gas supply chain, including dispute resolution. Since 2001, Anders has assisted in corporate and asset transactions, and acted as the lead counsel on many of the largest and most complex transactions on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. He has assisted companies such as Edison, Hess, E.ON and Marathon with the sale of their Norwegian operations, and a wide range of companies with various acquisition projects. Anders is passionate about his clients’ interests and knows the sector well. Through his combination of experience, curiosity and interest, he has gained a deep understanding of the economic and technical aspects, in addition to the legal and regulatory side. This has made him a highly valued strategic advisor for his clients.
