Ben Fackler brings more than 20 years of experience in the corporate and finance sectors to each engagement he works on. His extensive legal experience, together with his work as a senior investment banker at a global investment bank, as a partner and portfolio manager at an event-driven hedge fund and in senior advisory roles at several early-stage businesses, provides a unique perspective on, and understanding of, his clients' legal and business needs and objectives. Mr. Fackler focuses his practice on complex mergers and acquisitions, buyouts, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings and capital raising transactions across stages of corporate development. He has advised public and private companies, investors, founders, management teams and boards of directors on strategic and capital raising transactions totaling more than $250 billion in value. Mr. Fackler also counsels clients on matters affecting corporate governance and strategy, including in the context of contested and activist investor situations, and regularly serves as principal outside counsel for his clients. He also has significant transactional experience advising domestic and international clients across numerous industries, including in the technology, healthcare, consumer, materials, financial services and investment management sectors.
