Christopher Hume received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his law degree from The University of Alabama School of Law. Over the past 40 years, Chris’ practice has been devoted to civil litigation defense, including the defense of automobile and trucking accidents, products liability, construction litigation, property, including first party policy disputes, and workers’ compensation. He has broad and extensive trial and litigation experience and has handled or tried cases in state and/or federal courts in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, California and Wisconsin. He has earned an “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell and has contributed to continuing legal education as a lecturer at various programs and seminars, including construction, transportation and workers compensation. He is a Member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, Transportation Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute, Trucking Industry Defense Association and American Bar Association (Tort and Insurance Practice Section). He is a past President of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Mobile, Inc. and past Chairman of the Alabama Arthritis Foundation, Mobile Chapter.
