Nico Goossens Bio

Nico is Argo’s senior partner. He is active in both the corporate and the dispute resolution department. Nico has a wealth of experience in public and private M&A, capital market operations and international corporate finance, especially private equity transactions. His practice includes advising on issues of compliance and corporate governance. He also assists clients in financial investigations and risk management. He brings expert level skills to the team on both transactional and advisory practices as well as a long standing, highly appreciated dispute resolution experience primarily focused on corporate litigation and arbitration. Nico earned law degrees from the University of Antwerp (Law degree, 1991), the London School of Economics and Political Science (LL.M., 1992), the Catholic University of Brussels (postgraduate degree in company law, 1995). He also has a bachelor degree in philosophy (University of Antwerp, 1988). He authored various articles on company law topics.
