Jean-Marc Ueberecken is the Managing Partner of Arendt & Medernach, Luxembourg's leading legal, tax and business services firm with over 1000 professionals. We are lawyers, regulatory consultants, business advisors, tax, corporate and funds services experts. Jean-Marc focuses his leadership on driving innovation at Arendt & Medernach in order to continue creating new services, new products and above all, new ways of providing our services to our clients. Arendt & Medernach’s technological innovation aims to integrate people and technology, thereby creating new ways of working with the objective of a close connection between our experts and the needs of our clients. Jean-Marc considers that great lawyers are made, not born and believes that training is essential to allow our people to meet rising regulatory complexity, the requirements of the digital revolutions and changing needs of our clients, while motiving and engaging every one. We thus aim to develop our people’s capabilities, skills and competencies throughout their journey at Arendt with specialised learning plans which are central to our wider learning and development strategy. Jean-Marc is a corporate law and mergers & acquisitions partner by trade, with wide experience in the provision of advice to multinational corporations, major commercial companies and ambitious domestic entrepreneurs in connection with mergers and acquisitions, complex multi-jurisdictional corporate restructurings, change of control transactions including tender and exchange offers, acquisitions and sales of companies, joint ventures, as well as voluntary or forced liquidations.
