Kitty Chan Bio

Kitty Chan is a Partner and Registered Foreign Lawyer (England & Wales) of Appleby’s Shanghai office and Hong Kong office respectively, and a member of the Corporate Department. Kitty has 18 years of experience specialising in equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, corporate governance and compliance matters, and regulatory enforcements. Kitty is native in Cantonese and fluent in English and Mandarin. With her Chinese capability, she has extensive experience in handling PRC clients. She is able to work closely with our wider global team and provide advice on Bermuda, BVI and Cayman Islands law matters in the Asia time zone. Prior to joining Appleby, Kitty worked in Hong Kong at a top PRC law firm, Fangda Partners and several leading international law firms, including Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and DLA Piper, and was seconded to the legal team of Standard Chartered Bank, Hong Kong.
