Archan Chakraborty has over 12 years of experience in venture capital investments, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporatematters. Archan specializes in venture capital matters and has advised major venture capital funds in relation to their investments in India and Southeast Asia. Archan has been involved in investment transactions at various stages of growth of a company and has been involved in structuring and concluding such transactions, representing both investors as well as investee companies. Archan has also advised venture capital funds and companies in relation to their exits. Archan has also advised various companies in relation to mergers (including merger with listed companies), business transfer arrangements, acquisitions, capital restructuring (including reduction of capital) and joint ventures. Archan has relevant experience in sectors such as retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, healthcare, technology, fintech services, transportation and logistics and regularly advises clients on various corporate laws applicable to the above sectors, as well as on aspects of Companies Act, foreign exchange laws, etc.
