Simon Brown Bio

A vastly experienced and highly respected corporate commercial practitioner, he advises private, public and third sector clients on a wide range of issues. These include business structures, governance issues, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial contracts, intellectual property, procurement and EU/competition law. Having been involved in some of the largest and most innovative transactions in Scotland and beyond, Simon is known for his ability to deliver successfully on major and challenging projects. He is a Fellow of the RSA and a founding member of RSA Scotland’s Creative Industries Special Interest Group. He also sits on the board of Publishing Scotland and serves as Chair of the Scottish Solicitors Staff Pension Fund. In his spare time, Simon enjoys travel, literature and music, as well as a variety of sports, including football, golf, tennis and cycling.
