Hans Diekmann joined Allen & Overy LLP in May 2013 as a corporate partner in the Düsseldorf office. He primarily advises on corporate and capital markets law as well as on M&A transactions including public takeovers. German DAX and MDAX companies, financial institutions and large listed companies count among his regular client base. In addition to his M&A work Hans advises his clients inter alia on annual general meetings, initial public offerings, corporate reorganisations as well as on general corporate law advice and on financing issues. He also regularly advises executives and board members on matters relating to corporate compliance. Hans regularly publishes on corporate and stock corporation law issues. In his former career Hans worked for more than seven years in the central legal department of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt as well as a partner in another international law firm. Independent German and international legal directories frequently rank him among the leading lawyers in the areas of corporate and capital markets law.
