Shar Ahmed helps clients access public and private markets in raising capital and creating liquidity for existing equity holders. His clients call upon him to execute intricate, sophisticated transactions within tight time frames. He has led teams on multiple types of capital-raising matters, ranging from small, private transactions to initial public offerings. He also has experience in highly complex, large capital-raising transactions related to restructurings both in and out of court. Shar regularly represents issuers, underwriters and purchasers in registered and private offerings of debt and equity securities. He also provides advice to acquirors, targets, and their financial advisors in public and private company mergers and acquisitions.
