Gavin Weir leads domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and corporate financings under English law. He has significant experience managing public and private M&A transactions, takeovers, auctions and joint ventures, as well as public offerings, corporate governance matters and reorganizations. He regularly advises financial sponsors and corporates on transactions across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. Clients from a range of sectors, including financial institutions, technology and life sciences, value his proven ability to efficiently manage deals from start to finish. He is noted for his skill in navigating the legal and cultural dynamics of complex transactions with an international dimension. Gavin previously served as co-head of the Financial Institutions M&A team at another global law firm.
