Stefan Bais is a partner and attorney-at-law at AKD who specialises in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Stefan assists and advises clients in conjunction with (corporate) restructurings, transfer-pricing projects, joint ventures and corporate governance. He acts on behalf of medium-sized and large businesses which usually operate at international level. When advising he always tries to find the balance between short and long-term interests and take account of the position of the various stakeholders. His clients appreciate his eye for their business objectives and the broad perspective on which his consultancy is based. The advice which Stefan gives usually requires cooperation with various disciplines, both within AKD and with other parties. A large number of clients have regarded Stefan for many years as the ideal person to tackle such a multidisciplinary approach. AKD has a strong network of fellow law firms in jurisdictions in which it is not represented and Stefan works with these on a daily basis.
