Albert G. Ayre, Of Counsel, joined Ainsworth, Thelin & Raftice, P.A. on May 1, 2013 as an Of Counsel attorney. Ayre chose to make the switch from working as a sole practitioner to become “Of Counsel” at ATR because he wanted to find a firm where he could maintain a one-on-one relationship with clients while benefitting from the expertise of an experienced and talented firm as he finishes his career. He said, “At this point in my career, I found myself asking, ‘What’s the best long term solution for my clients and for me?’ I’ve known these people (at Ainsworth, Thelin & Raftice, P.A.) for a long time. I’m very familiar with the firm, and I found the range of expertise at the firm fit very nicely with my experience. I know that my clients will be well taken care of here long after I am gone.” Attorney Ayre served as President of the Maine State Bar Association in 2017.
