Bio

Doron Stern graduated from the Hebrew University Law School in 1984, and was admitted to the Israel Bar Association in 1985. Following his graduation and his articulation in the Supreme Court of Israel, Doron worked as a foreign associate in Willkie Farr & Gallagher, in New York City. Upon his return to Israel in 1988, he joined the Law firm of Y. Raveh and Co., became a partner within one year, and was in charge of hotel development projects, real estate projects, environmental law, and commercial litigation during his seven years of partnering with Raveh. Doron founded Tulchinsky Stern with Menachem Tulchinsky in 1995, and after a few years shifted his main practice to Hi Tech start-ups and venture capital law, which was in its infancy at the time. The practice quickly grew with noted transaction such as the $4.8 Billion merger of Chromatis Networks into Lucent (the largest "exit" ever to take place in Israel), the long term legal handling of all Jerusalem Venture Partners matters, as well as numerous investments, mergers, sales, and commercial transactions of startups and venture capital funds in Israel.
