Stephen Woods Bio

Stephen is a partner in our Transactions department, where he leads our London corporate team. His principal areas of work span a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions across international and emerging markets: including M&A, joint venture, foreign investment, private equity, alternative financing structures and reorganisations. He frequently advises clients across a range of cross-border regulated/non-regulated sector transactions, with a particular focus on the shipping, transport and energy sectors where he advises the full spectrum of sector stakeholder from energy companies, ship owners, operators, developers and sponsors, to family offices, private equity and other financial investors. Stephen qualified as a lawyer in 2006 and joined Schjødt in 2022 after spending his entire career in the London and Singapore offices of a leading international firm. He is a graduate of Nottingham University.
