Sebastian Sundberg Bio

Sebastian specialises in financial regulation and has broad experience in the financial services industry. He has advised both Swedish and foreign financial undertakings and their owners on various financial regulatory issues, and he has, in particular, experience in matters concerning investment firms, credit institutions, payment service providers, consumer credit institutions, and fund management companies. Sebastian's recent experience includes advising in several M&A transactions (both public and private) and IPOs involving Swedish credit institutions and other financial undertakings, as well as advising in relation to various regulatory filings and applications to the SFSA. Sebastian is also a leading adviser in the Fintech domain. His expertise is particularly suitable for crypto businesses, international banking organisations, private equity funds, crowdfunding services and other market infrastructure providers, helping them progress and ensure stability in this rapidly evolving environment. Before joining Schjødt in 2021, Sebastian was head of the financial regulatory practice at Advokatfirman Cederquist. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Uppsala University.
