Kaare Risung Bio

Kaare is a partner with focus on the technology, media and telecom sectors. His principal areas of work are commercial contracts, regulatory affairs, joint ventures, company law, private M&A and sports law. He frequently advises on large and complex projects, representing mainly industrial players, including Fortune 500 companies. Project include construction and operation of ecom networks (satellite, fiber, mobile and broadcasting), datacenters, airport fuel supply and hydrogen. Kaare also serves on several board of directors. Kaare has been a lawyer since 1993 and joined Schjødt as a partner in 2002. He is a graduate of Davidson College with a major in Economics and of the Faculty of Law of the University of Oslo. He is ranked as leading and recommended individual in international rankings, including Chambers and Legal 500. Kaare serves as head of the legal committee of The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports.
